The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is announcing a competition to fill the position of rector at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.

Ukrainian citizens who are proficient in the state language at the level specified by the National Commission on State Language Standards (fluency in the state language at the first or second level), hold an academic title and a degree, and have at least ten years of experience working as academic and teaching staff are eligible to participate in the competition.

The deadline for submitting applications is two months from the date of publication of the announcement on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

 

Individuals wishing to participate in the competition must submit the following documents:

1. an application for participation in the competition addressed to the founder, stating whether or not the restrictions set forthin Part 2of Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” apply to the applicant;
2. a personnel record form with a 3 x 4 cm photograph;
3. autobiography;
4. copies of documents certifying higher education, academic degrees, and academic titles;
5. a certificate confirming the completion of preliminary, periodic, and unscheduled psychiatric examinations, including for the use of psychoactive substances, issued in accordance with the Procedure for Conducting Preliminary, Periodic, and Unscheduled Psychiatric Examinations, Including for the Use of Psychoactive Substances, approved by Order of the Ministry of Healthof Ukraine dated April 18, 2022, No. 651, registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on June 15, 2022, under No. 648/37984 (Official Gazette of Ukraine, 2022, No. 50, p. 70, Article 2448);
6. a certificate confirming the presence or absence of a criminal record (an extract from the information and analytical system “Record of Information on Criminal Prosecution and Criminal Records”);
7. a copy of the passport, certified by the applicant;
8. a copy of the employment record book (if available) and/or other documents confirming work experience, or information on employment history from the register of insured persons of the State Register of Compulsory State Social Insurance, in accordance with established procedures;
9. a copy of the state certificate of proficiency in the official language issued by the National Commission on Official Language Standards;

a certified copyof the verification report issued by the authority that conducted the verification, or a written statement addressed to the founder stating that the applicant is not subject to the prohibitions set forth in Part ThreeorPart Fourof Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On Government Reform,” in the form approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 563 of October 16, 2014, “Certain Issues Regarding the Implementation of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Purification of Government’” (Official Gazette of Ukraine, 2014, No. 85, Art. 2412), and consent to undergo a background check and to the disclosure of information regarding the applicant in accordance with the aforementioned Law.

Copies of documents submitted by the applicant (except for a copy of the passport) may be certified by the applicant’s employer, the founder, or a notary.
