VIII All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation: “The Formation and Development of the Rule of Law: Issues in Theory and Practice”

The purpose of the event is to identify the challenges arising during the establishment and development of the rule of law in Ukraine and to explore ways to address them; to foster connections between representatives of legal scholarship and legal practice; and to engage students and young scholars in academic research;

A brief summary of the most significant scientific achievements obtained over the past 3–5 years in the relevant field, including the universities and research institutions that were involved in the collaboration.

Between 2011 and 2016, 195 papers were published in the proceedings of the scientific and practical conferences titled “The Formation and Development of the Rule of Law: Issues in Theory and Practice,” and more than 80 participants, including students and young scholars, were involved in the research. The following individuals were invited to collaborate:

Mechnikov Odesa National University; Pervomaisky Branch of the Private Higher Educational Institution “Kirovograd Institute of Regional Management and Economics,” Pervomaisk; Private Higher Educational Institution “International University of Business and Law,” Kherson; Private Higher Educational Institution “University of Modern Knowledge,” Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast; Kharkiv Petro Vasylenko National Technical University of Agriculture; Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Kharkiv; Kherson Institute of Economics and Law, Kherson; Gomel Branch of the International University “MITSO” (Republic of Belarus); Yancheng Institute of Industrial Technology (People’s Republic of China).

At the conferences of the same name, research findings were presented on the department-wide themes of “Ukraine and the Rule of Law in the World Ocean” and “The Formation and Development of the Rule of Law.” Research in the field of administrative law was particularly well represented.
