Event Theme: The Formation and Development of the Rule of Law: Issues in Theory and Practice.

The purpose of the event is to enable representatives of participating countries to engage in academic discussions and exchange experiences regarding the establishment and development of the rule of law.
A brief overview of the most significant research findings obtained over the past 3–5 years in the relevant field, including the universities and research institutions that participated in the collaboration. Over the past 5 years, the circle of Ukrainian higher education institutions whose representatives have become regular participants in the conference has expanded; this includes Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy,” Odessa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, the Ivan Chernyakhovsky National Defense University, the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University, the Kharkiv University of Economics and Law, and others. The conference has been held for 15 years and serves as a cornerstone for the Faculty of Maritime Law. The scientific results obtained during the conferences address theoretical and legal issues concerning the development of the legal aspects of state-building.
