The Scientific Library of the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding has joined the nationwide informational and educational campaign “National Poetry Reading Week.” The theme of Poetry Week 2024 is “HOME,” and the slogan is “Rivers always flow home.”

From March 16 to 24, the Scientific Library’s Facebook page will feature videos of participants in the poetry marathon—our users, friends, and simply lovers of poetry—who enthusiastically responded to the library’s invitation to take part in the event.

In particular, today, March 19, on the birthday of Ukrainian poet, writer, and social activist Lina Kostenko, her poem “The Rosehip Yields Its Fruit with Difficulty” was recited.

Students, faculty, and other university staff are welcome to participate in the event.
