Our Mission

Damen is a customer-focused, international, family-owned shipbuilder with Dutch roots. We design and build innovative vessels of exceptional quality, supported by a global sales and service network that includes maintenance, repair, and refit services.

Our Vision

Our goal is to become a global leader in every segment of the shipbuilding, ship repair, and ship conversion markets, as well as related services, by continuously improving the quality of our ship design and services. We aim to exceed our customers’ expectations in terms of quality, innovation, and reliability. We build successful relationships with customers, partners, and employees in a safe environment.

The Damen Shipyards Group operates 36 shipbuilding and repair yards, employing 12,000 people worldwide. They have built more than 6,500 vessels since 1969. The company can guarantee fast delivery times because it typically has 200 hulls in stock, some of which are already equipped with basic fittings.

In addition, the company has many years of experience in repairs, conversion projects, maintenance, and retrofitting, having completed over 1,500 projects annually for all types of vessels and platforms.
