Topic: The Christmas tree—the centerpiece of New Year’s decorations.

Objective: To create an associative and imaginative composition on the theme of New Year’s, which could be:

  1. Graphical
  2. Three-dimensional.

Objective: To convey the festive atmosphere using characteristic symbols, shapes, visual elements, color schemes, etc.

It could be:

  • A type of Christmas tree—the centerpiece of New Year's decorations.
  • The symbol of next year.
  • Any New Year's accessory.

Variations of the composition:

  1. An associative-style composition (A3 format). The choice of art supplies is up to you (colored pencils, markers, watercolors, gel pens).
  2. The task is performed graphically, to scale (projections, general view).
  3. You can make a paper model. Materials needed: drawing paper, colored paper, cardboard, a craft knife, a ruler, and glue.
  4. Create a three-dimensional structure—the shape of a Christmas tree—using the principles of modularity and ease of construction! Drawing paper, colored paper, cardboard, a craft knife, a ruler, and glue.
  5. Create a composition using the material provided. Any material may be used (colored paper, cardboard, foam, plastic wrap, acrylic glass, etc.).

Options: tabletop, wall-mounted, pendant.
