Student Research Club "History of Physical Education and Sports"


The purpose of the student research club is to identify and engage gifted young people in scientific activities, to enable students to conduct in-depth study of the relevant field of science, to acquire research skills, and to apply the knowledge gained in practice, discussing current issues in the relevant field of science, broadening their general and professional worldview, and creating conditions for research activities among capable and talented students.

The main objectives of the student research club are:

  • organizing students' research work;
  • in-depth study of a chosen topic by students;
  • involving students in the Department’s research projects;
  • developing students' skills as scholars and researchers;
  • encouraging students to participate in academic conferences, seminars, forums, competitions, and other research and educational events;
  • facilitating student participation in international projects, study programs, and internships abroad;
  • discussing theoretical issues, addressing current scientific and technical challenges, and conducting a series of studies;
  • familiarization with modern methods of planning and conducting experiments;
  • presentation of students’ research findings at international and national academic conferences and their publication in academic journals;
  • establishing ties with other student research organizations, associations, and institutions at the international, national, and regional levels;
  • helping students develop the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.

Activities of the student research club: meetings, participation in academic conferences, seminars, and roundtables, publication of academic articles, and research projects.
