2007 – Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences.

By decision of the Attestation Board dated October 24, 2007 (Minutes No. 4/03-P), the academic title of Professor of the Department of Mathematical Disciplines was conferred. Professor’s Certificate No. 12PR-005095, Kyiv.

2002 – Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.

He defended his dissertation at the Institute of Plasma Hydrodynamics; the topic of his dissertation was “Unsteady Wave Hydrodynamic Fields in Regions with Moving Boundaries.” By decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission of Ukraine dated June 12, 2002 (Minutes No. 107/6), he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the specialty 01.02.05—Mechanics of Fluids, Gases, and Plasma. Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences diploma No. 002386, Kyiv.

2006 – Associate Professor, Department of Mathematical Sciences.

By decision of the Attestation Board dated June 15, 2006 (Minutes No. 3/14-D), the academic title of Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematical Disciplines was conferred. Certificate of Associate Professor No. 02DC-012636, Kyiv.

1975 – Candidate of Technical Sciences.

He defended his dissertation at the Admiral Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute; the topic of his dissertation was “Issues in the Hydrodynamics of Nonlinear Ship Roll.” By decision of the Council of the Admiral Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute dated June 19, 1975 (Minutes No. 39), he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.08.01 – Ship Theory. Diploma of Candidate of Technical Sciences, No. 109632, dated December 3, 1975.

1963 – Graduated from the Admiral Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute with a major in marine propulsion systems and a qualification as a mechanical engineer. Specialist diploma No. 005116, dated June 29, 1963.
