On November 27, 2025, Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding proudly hosted its first university-wide event, “NUOS House Party,” on the stage of the Mykolaiv Academic Artistic Drama Theater.

The planning and hosting of this event was made possible thanks to our defenders. The National University of Kyiv expresses its sincere gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for making it possible for us to work and hold such events! Glory to Ukraine!

Despite the extensive damage the university sustained during the war, it has retained its faculty and continues to treat every individual with respect. Prospective students will not be choosing walls, but rather people who can not only impart professional knowledge but also teach them how to live and become successful individuals.

Oleksandr Vasylovych Tur (Director of the Educational and Research Center for International Cooperation) spoke about “Maluk NUK,” a children’s center unique among higher education institutions, and hosted a lighthearted blitz tournament.

As part of the event, a talent contest titled “Two Stars” was held, in which faculty members and students performed in duets. The audience voted using a QR code. At the end of the evening, the winners were congratulated by Rector Eugeniy Trushliakov Olesya Mykolayivna Oleksiuk.

Throughout the evening, there were also musical performances by theater actors (O. Storozhuk, A. Karay) and artistic groups, as well as a poem about the sea by Professor Olena Volodymyrivna Gogorenko.
