On October 12, the first stage (regional qualifying round) of the All-Ukrainian Student Programming Olympiad took place, which is part of the Southeast European Regional Contest (SEERC) of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) — SEERC — Ukraine — 2025.

Fourteen teams from Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding participated in the competition, representing the university with distinction and competing for a spot in the next round.

Following the results of the qualifying round, three NUK teams advanced to the next stage:

NUS_BugCreators — solved 7 problems;

NUS_Hearts_of_Stone — solved 6 problems;

NUS_RAM_Eaters — solved 4 problems.

The NUS_BugCreators and NUS_Hearts_of_Stone teams, which took first and second place, were formally awarded first- and second-place certificates.

All teams that participated in the competition received certificates of participation, recognizing their contribution to the development of student programming and teamwork.

NUK students have consistently demonstrated a high level of preparation and dedication to their work, continuing to represent the university with distinction in the prestigious ICPC competitions, in which university teams have been participating since 2004.
