On June 4, NUK students participated in a special online event, UNOG Livestream for Universities, organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva. This livestream was part of UNOG’s initiative to attract and recruit diverse talent from countries in the Global South.

The students had the opportunity to learn about various career opportunities within the organization, as well as the importance of cultural diversity and inclusivity in the work of international institutions. Participation in the UNOG Livestream for Universities was an excellent opportunity for students at Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding to learn more about global challenges and the roles that UN agencies play in addressing them. The event also helped future graduates explore employment prospects at the international level.
