On November 18, 2025, the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding held a formal ceremony to recognize and honor its faculty and students! 
Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych attended the event and personally presented:
Certificates of Honor awarded to university faculty members for their significant contributions to the advancement of education and science. In addition, to celebrate Student Day (which was observed on November 17), an awards ceremony was held to honor the most active male and female students! 
Together with Mr. Senkevich, Kateryna Moiseenko, Chair of the NUCS Primary Student Union, and Volodymyr Smaliievskyi, Chair of the NUCS Student Council, presented students with certificates and diplomas for:
Active community involvement. High academic achievement and dedication. Participation in and assistance with the organization of various events (ranging from academic conferences to volunteer initiatives).
