As with the External Independent Testing (EIT), the traditional entrance exams for master’s programs (EIT/EFV)have been canceled due to the hostilities in Ukraine; accordingly, the order regulating the administration ofthe EIT/EFV has been revoked.

However, in accordance withthe Admission Procedures for Higher Education in 2022, prospectivemaster’s students will take the following exams:

  • Master's Comprehensive Exam(MCE) — for admission to the programs in 081 "Law" and 293 "International Law";
  • Master's Academic Competency Test (MTNK) — for admission to majors in the fields of study 05 “Social and Behavioral Sciences,” 06 “Journalism,” 07 “Management and Administration,” 28 “Public Management and Administration,” 29 “International Relations” (except for specialty 293 “International Law”).

MKT and MTNK are online computer-based tests that will be administered at special temporary testing centers (similar to the NMT) established in various locations across Ukraine (in coordination with government authorities), as well as in some European countries.

 

The MKTwill consist of two sections: a foreign language (English, German, French, or Spanish, at the applicant’s choice) and law. The foreign language questions on the MKT are designed in accordance withthe EIT curriculum, while the law questions are designed in accordance withthe curriculum for the subject-specific test in law and international law.

The MTNCwill include tasks designed to assess the applicant’s overall academic competence. These tasks are developed in accordance withthe TZNC curriculum.

REGISTRATION

Registration for individuals wishing to participate in the competitive selection process for admission to a master’s degree program in order to take the Master’s Comprehensive Test (MCT) and/or the Master’s Academic Competency Test (MACT) for admission to the second (master’s) level of higher education (hereinafter referred to as “registration”), begins on June 27 and ends at 6:00 p.m. on July 18.

Applicants must complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM or send scanned copies (photocopies) to the official email address of the NUK Admissions Committee (pk_nuk@nuos.edu.ua):

  • a completed APPLICATION FORM containing the information required to issue an exam sheet;
  • a document proving identity;
  • taxpayer identification number (except for individuals who, due to their religious beliefs, refuse to accept a taxpayer identification number);
  • a document certifying the higher education degree (educational and qualification level) obtained (for individuals who have completed their studies);
  • a certificate issued by the educational institution confirming the planned completion of studies and the awarding of a diploma in the year of admission, as set forth in Appendix 4 to the Procedure (for individuals whose personal data are not entered into the Unified State Database on Education);
  • a medical report in the form of primary medical record No. 086-3/o (if special conditions need to be provided).
