Purpose of the event: To analyze and summarize new theoretical and applied findings regarding the use of refrigeration in stationary power generation, maritime and river transport, and gas transmission. The Third International Scientific and Technical Conference “Refrigeration in Power Generation and Transport” is dedicated to current issues in air conditioning and refrigeration.
A brief summary of the most significant results achieved over the past 3–5 years in the relevant field, including the universities and research organizations involved in the collaboration: The research project “Trigeneration Technologies for Land-Based and Marine Power Generation” (authors: Radchenko A.M., Ryzhkov R.S., Radchenko R.M., Konovalov D.V.) was nominated for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Award for the most talented young scientists in the field of fundamental and applied research and scientific and technical development in 2012. State-funded research projects: “Development of the Theoretical Foundations of the Concept of Marine Trigeneration,” “Development of Technologies for Combined Energy Production Using Low-Boiling-Point Working Fluids for Marine Power and Life Support Systems” (project leader: M.I. Radchenko); Grants from the President of Ukraine for fundamental research in 2009 and 2011 on the topics “Development of the scientific foundations of effective trigeneration technologies for utilizing the waste potential of compressor stations in Ukraine’s gas transmission system” (project leader: R. RadchenkoM.), “Development of energy-saving technologies based on the gas-dynamic effect in combined energy production plants” (project leader D.V. Konovalov).
