International Scientific and Practical Conference "Black Sea Public Law Readings"

 

The format is in-person and online.

Event Topic: Discussion of current issues and key trends in the development of legal science and practice. Reform of the public administration system.

Dates: September 8–9, 2022.

Venue: Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Mykolaiv, Koblevo village, Mykolaiv Oblast.

Number of participants: 100.

Names of foreign countries and the number of participants from each: Poland (3 participants), Slovakia (5 participants), Belarus (2 participants)

The purpose of the conference is to facilitate a comprehensive discussion, systematize , and identify solutions to pressing issues in contemporary legal scholarship and practice; to foster connections among young scholars from different countries; to exchange research experiences; and to publish the results of scientific research.

The sessions were organized around the following thematic areas:

  1. Theory and History of the State and Law; History of Political and Legal Thought
  2. Constitutional law; municipal law
  3. Administrative Law and Procedure; Financial Law; Information Law
  4. Maritime law; international maritime law
  5. Criminal Law and Criminology; Penitentiary Law
  6. Criminal procedure and forensic science; forensic examination; investigative activities.

Participation in the sessions is available both in person and remotely.

A brief overview of the most significant scientific results obtained over the past 3–5 years in the relevant field, including the universities and research organizations involved in the collaboration:The scientificoutcomes of the conference included proposals for amendments to legislation to bring it into compliance with international, including European, standards, and the publication of a printed collection of abstracts, which was assigned an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) by a European publisher. In addition, conference participants received a certificate indicating the scope of professional development (15 hours – 0.5 ECTS credits).
