The "History and Archaeology" educational program outlines the master's degree curriculum, the list of educational components, and their logical sequence, which contribute to the development of professionals in the field of history.
Subjects of study: the history of humanity, particularly that of Ukraine and other countries, in all its forms;
Program objectives: to train specialists capable of solving complex research and/or innovation-related problems in the fields of history and/or archaeology;
Theoretical content of the subject area: a system of scientific theories, concepts, hypotheses, principles, categories, methods, and terms used in the process of historically understanding the past of various societies and their segments, phenomena, and figures, as well as the totality of material, everyday, spiritual, and social aspects within specific spatial and temporal dimensions.
Methods, methodologies, and technologies: general scientific and specialized scientific methods used in historical and archaeological research, as well as methodologies and technologies used for the study, preservation, and utilization of archaeological, historical, and cultural heritage sites.
The History and Archaeology program outlines the curriculum for master’s students, the educational components, and their logical progression, which are essential for developing expertise in the field of history.
The program focuses on humanity’s past—including that of Ukraine and other nations—in all its forms.
The learning objectives are to train specialists capable of addressing complex research and/or innovation challenges in the fields of history and archaeology.
The theoretical framework encompasses a comprehensive range of scientific theories, concepts, hypotheses, principles, categories, and methodologies used in the historical analysis of diverse societies, their segments, phenomena, and notable figures, as well as a collection of material, domestic, spiritual, and social dimensions within specific spatial and temporal contexts.
The methodologies, techniques, and technologies encompass both general and specialized scientific approaches used in historical and archaeological research, as well as the methods and technologies applied to the study, preservation, and utilization of archaeological, historical, and cultural heritage.
