On November 9–10, the Educational and Research Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering hosted the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Technical Conference for Students, Graduate Students, and Young Scientists titled “Automation and Electrical Engineering.” The conference was held online via Google Meet.
On November 9, a plenary session was held, along with sessions of the following sections: “Automation, Information and Control Systems and Devices,” “Power Conversion Technology and Electronic Systems,” and “Power Systems, Electrical Machines, and Apparatus.”
The plenary session began with an opening address by the chair of the conference organizing committee, V. A. Skorokhodov, director of the Institute of Nuclear Energy. He welcomed the young participants and wished them success in their research endeavors.

In their presentations, third-year graduate student Y. V. Dzyisyuk and young faculty members G. S. Grudinina and O. V. Zivenko discussed the results of their research.

O. Yu. Domansky and R. K. Lukin, master’s students majoring in Electronics (Specialty 171), presented their own projects—developed as part of their master’s thesis projects—in their presentations.

At the conclusion of the plenary session, the conference’s scientific secretary and deputy director for research at the Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Energy, O. O. Cherno delivered a report titled “Prospects for Cooperation Between the Institute of Nuclear Energy of the National University of Kyiv and the Engineering Company Building Engineering Solutions,” and also made an announcement regarding the admission of future graduates to the National University of Kyiv’s graduate program in 2022.
On the same day, presentations were given at the section meetings by first-year graduate student M. O. Kozlov and master’s students N. G. Malakhova, V. Yu. Gorbov, S. K. Kleoshyn, A. O. Nikulina, and G. G. Ugolnikov.

In total, approximately 30 students, graduate students, and faculty members participated in the conference, and 16 presentations were delivered.
