We invite you to participate in the 10th International Student Conference “Key Aspects of Student Self-Governance: Protecting Student Rights and Promoting Educational Quality,” which will take place from November 5, 2021 – November 7, 2021. Representatives of student self-governance bodies, student trade unions, student associations, and active student youth are invited to participate.

Conference topics:

  • Current issues in student self-governance and ways to address them;
  • Advocacy for students' interests;
  • Best practices of student government bodies;
  • Prospects for the development of student self-government bodies at your institution of higher education.

Selection of conference participants will be conducted on a competitive basis. To participate in the event, you must complete the registration form at the following link by November 1, 2021 (inclusive): https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdi2XCRRf0cmPBHFjwfkyThszuAf8RxyEFund-VoHl2iSThDg/viewform. Participants will be notified individually of the selection results on November 2, 2021.

The conference proceedings will be published in an electronic conference proceedings volume.

Registration fee – 400 UAH

Registration begins on November 5 at 11:00 a.m.

Requirements for the formatting of abstracts or articles:

  1. Submissions must be in Ukrainian, English, or German.
  2. The article should be no longer than 5 pages; the abstract should not exceed 2 pages. The number of authors should not exceed two.
  3. General outline for an abstract or article: authors’ last and first names, university, city—in the upper right corner, font Times New Roman.
  4. The bibliography must be formatted in accordance with the requirements of the national standard, and the page numbers of books and articles must be included.

Participation in the conference is permitted provided that participants present a document confirming completion of the full vaccination course, a document confirming receipt of a single dose of the vaccine, or a negative result from a PCR test or rapid antigen test for SARS-CoV-2, valid for 72 hours.
