On International Electricians' Day, a meeting was held with the heads of educational institutions with accreditation levels I–IV to discuss the Society's cooperation with these institutions regarding the training of specialists in the energy sector.
During the meeting, the heads of educational institutions shared their vision for cooperation and raised issues currently facing the training of young professionals, specifically: ensuring the material and technical resources needed for student education. Serhiy Klochko emphasized that the Society is ready to organize student internships and practical training, present the Society at educational institutions, involve specialists in the work of state certification commissions, and advertise job openings.
As a result of this collaboration, young people will find employment, and the company will be provided with qualified personnel.

HISTORY OF THE FACULTY-INSTITUTE
The 1960s saw rapid development in the shipbuilding industry of the former Soviet Union. The country was actively building vessels for the fishing, transport, and technical fleets, constructing floating engineering structures for offshore development, and building combat surface and submarine vessels for the Navy.
The times called for the construction of ships with advanced electrical systems and automation, which required the training of engineering and scientific personnel with the appropriate qualifications. Under these circumstances, on April 17, 1965, the Faculty of Marine Electrical Equipment was established at the Admiral Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute, effective September 1, 1965; today, it is the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding.
From the very beginning, the faculty’s staff actively worked to develop the scientific, methodological, and technical infrastructure for the educational process. A number of new electrical engineering laboratories were established, including those for marine electrical machinery, marine power systems, electric drive theory, electrical materials, electrical apparatus, and marine automation and electronics.
Today, the Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering is one of the leading institutes at the National University of Kyiv in terms of developing access to higher education, the quality of its academic and research staff, and its research activities. Having begun its history 55 years ago as the youngest and smallest institute by all measures, it has become a leader in many respects. Over the past ten years, the number of full-time and part-time students has steadily increased. Since its inception, the Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering has become the largest in the university in terms of the number of full-time students, with more than 900 students enrolled in recent years.
The Institute’s primary priority is to ensure the training of highly qualified graduates who are competitive in the labor market, knowledgeable in related fields, capable of performing effectively in accordance with national standards, and prepared for continuous professional growth as well as social and professional mobility.
The faculty includes 14 Doctors of Science and professors, 44 Candidates of Science, 2 Honored Scientists and Engineers of Ukraine, 1 Honored Inventor of Ukraine, and 1 recipient of the State Prize of Ukraine.
The research conducted by scientists at the Institute of Nuclear Energy is well known abroad. A significant number of the institute’s staff members’ scientific papers are published in countries such as the United States, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Austria, China, Vietnam, Slovakia, France, Singapore, and others.
The Institute’s priorities for the coming years are to maintain the positive momentum of its development and to strengthen its reputation within the domestic and international scientific and educational communities.
