In 2000, he graduated from the Ukrainian State Maritime Technical University. From September 2000 to September 2003, he pursued graduate studies on a full-time basis at the Ukrainian State Maritime Technical University.
After completing his graduate studies, he began working as an assistant in the Department of Automation.
In 2007, he defended his dissertation to earn the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
From September 2009 to August 2011 – Senior Lecturer in the Department of Automation. He was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in the Department of Automation in 2013. Since 2017, he has served as Chair of the Department of Automation.
Core courses: "Theory of Automatic Control," "Electric Drive Control Systems," "Automation of Control Systems."
Supervises thesis and course projects. Provides ongoing guidance for students' research work.
Main areas of research: automation of industrial plants and technological complexes; automatic control systems for electric drives; theoretical and experimental studies of energy converters for wave power plants
I.S. Bilyuk is the author of more than 80 scientific and educational works, including one textbook approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and one textbook approved by the Academic Council of the National University of Kyiv; he has participated in the development of 24 utility model patents. He has been awarded a Letter of Appreciation and a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the “Distinguished Educator” badge.

VASILYEV
ALEXANDER GRIGOROVICH

In 1972, he graduated from the Admiral S.O. Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute and, following his assignment, was retained as a research intern in the Department of Automatic Control of Ship Power Plants (AC SPP).
Under the supervision of Mykola Oleksandrovych Dykyi, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor, he defended his master’s thesis in 1989.
Of his 47 years of total service at the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Eastern European University, O.G. Vasilyev has spent 43 years in academic and teaching positions, serving as a junior research associate, research associate, senior research associate, senior lecturer, and associate professor.
He teaches the following courses: "Control Systems for Industrial Robotic Systems" and "Control Systems for Electric Drives."
Supervises thesis and course projects. Provides ongoing guidance for students' research work.
He has authored approximately 35 published works, including 25 articles and conference abstracts, 10 educational and methodological materials, and 2 patents.
O.G. Vasilyev has been advising student groups for many years, for which he received a Certificate of Honor from the rector of the National University of Kyiv.
For his many years of dedicated service and fruitful work as an educator, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Education of Ukraine.

GUROV
ANATOLY PETROVICH

In 1968, he graduated with honors from the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute with a degree in marine electrical equipment.
Candidate of Technical Sciences since 1979.
In 1980, he was appointed associate professor in the Department of Automation, and in 2003, he became a full professor.
Key stages of professional and academic career: MKI, 1968–1971 – Assistant at the Department of Electrical Machinery and Ship Electrical Systems; 1971–1974 – Graduate Student; 1974 – Assistant at the Department of Marine Electrical Equipment; 1974–1977 – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Marine Electrical Equipment; 1977–1980 – Senior Lecturer at the Department of Automation; 1980–1999 – Associate Professor at the Department of Automation; since 1999 – Acting Head of the Department of Automation; since 2001 – Acting Professor at the Department of Automation; and since 2003 – Professor at this department.
He is the author of over 80 scientific papers, 24 copyright certificates and patents for inventions, 14 methodological works, and 2 monographs. He provides academic guidance to undergraduate and graduate students.
Under his supervision, five graduate students successfully defended their master’s theses.
Professor A.P. Gurov supervises students' research work, the preparation of master's theses, and course and graduation projects.

FOMENKO
ANDRIY MYKOLAYOVYCH
Senior Lecturer in the Department of Automation, Associate Professor at the National University of Kyiv

In 1988, he graduated with honors from the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Technical School with a major in “Industrial Robot Operation”; that same year, he was admitted to the first year of the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute. In 1994, he graduated from the Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute with a major in “Electric Drives and Automation of Industrial Installations.”
From 1994, he worked as an instructor at the Mykolaiv Polytechnic College; from 1996, he served as a senior instructor in the preparatory department of the Mykolaiv State Maritime Technical University (UDMTU); and in 1997 (following the reorganization of the preparatory department), he was transferred to the Maritime Lyceum affiliated with UDMTU. He completed his part-time graduate studies in 1997. In 1999, he was hired by UDMTU as an assistant, and in 2004, he was appointed senior lecturer in the Department of Automation.
The main courses taught by Andriy Mykolayovych are Complete Electric Drives, Components of Automated Electric Drives, and Installation and Commissioning of Electromechanical Devices.
Since 2004, he has served as Acting Deputy Director for Student Affairs at the IAE. Since 2006, he has served as Deputy Director for Academic Affairs at the IAE. From 2008 to 2019, he served as Deputy Director of the IAE for Basic Higher Education. He is constantly engaged in outreach efforts to attract prospective students to enroll at NUK and to facilitate employment for IAE NUK graduates.
Andriy Mykolayovych's research interests include the following areas: automation and modernization of industrial equipment, automation and modernization of industrial processes, and complete electric drive systems.
A.M. Fomenko has published over 40 scientific and methodological works, is the co-author of three textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and holds eight copyright certificates and utility model patents.
In 2011, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor at the National University of Kyiv for his dedicated work and significant achievements in educational methodology.
He has been repeatedly honored with certificates of commendation from the leadership of the National University of Kyiv, the regional administration, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

SHAREYKO
DMITRY YURIYOVICH

In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Admiral S.Y. Makarov Mykolaiv Shipbuilding Institute with a degree in “Marine Electrical Equipment.” Since his second year at the institute, he had been engaged in research activities in the “Applied Electrodynamics” laboratory as a laboratory assistant (under fixed-term employment contracts) on research topics in the field of protection against physical fields under the supervision of Ph.D. in Engineering, Assoc. Prof. I.I. Chudaykin and Ph.D., Associate Professor Y.M. Zaporozhets, he was offered a position at the institute as an engineer in this laboratory. With the participation of D.Y. Shareyko, research was conducted on numerous state-funded scientific topics, including projects commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. The most well-known of these relate to the powerful aircraft carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov.” After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the laboratory developed research projects for both government and private clients, the most notable of which was the acceleration of pulp settling commissioned by the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant.
In 1995, D.Y. Shareiko entered a graduate program. In 2002, he defended his master’s thesis. In 1998, he was appointed assistant professor in the Department of Automation at UDMTU, and in 2000, he was promoted to senior lecturer in the same department.
In 2003, he was appointed associate professor in the Department of Automation at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, and in 2004, he received his associate professor certification in the Department of Automation.
From 2003 to 2007, he served as deputy director of the Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering at the National University of Kyiv.
Over the years, he has developed curricula and taught courses such as “Theory of Automatic Control,” “Special Topics in Mathematics,” “Complete Electric Drives,” “Fundamentals of Vibration Engineering,” “Vibration-Controlled Systems,” “Vibration Technologies,” “Vibration Diagnostics,” and “Elements of Automated Electric Drives.” He taught mathematics in preparatory courses at UDMTU.
D.Y. Shareiko has authored over 40 articles, including two in international collections, 35 abstracts, 15 educational and methodological works, and four textbooks, three of which were co-authored and have been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. He currently works as an associate professor in the Department of Automation at the National University of Kyiv, serves as the department’s union representative, and supervises undergraduate and master’s theses.
He was awarded certificates of commendation from the mayor and the rector of the National University of Kyiv.

SAVCHENKO
OLEG VALERIIOVICH
Head of the Laboratories of the Department of Automation

In 2012, he graduated from Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, earning a specialist degree in “Electromechanical Automation Systems and Electric Drives.” In 2013, he began working at the Department of Automation as a senior laboratory assistant, and from 2015 to the present, he has served as the head of the department’s laboratories. From 2019 to the present, he has been a part-time lecturer in the Department of Automation.
At the Department of Automation, he participated in the creation of four computer labs. He helped establish a state-of-the-art laboratory featuring a microcontroller-based control system for DC and AC electric drives. I participated in the creation of a modern industrial robotics laboratory, implemented as part of a joint project with the World Bank and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. I am also involved in the modernization of laboratory test benches and the development of new, modern test benches for electric drive control systems.
O.V. Savchenko has over 190 scientific and methodological publications, including 86 abstracts and presentations at foreign, international, and all-Ukrainian conferences, 56 articles (10 of which are indexed in the international scientometric database Scopus), 44 patents, 1 research project, methodological guidelines, and 3 textbooks recommended by the Academic Council of the National University of Kyiv. In 2020, he was awarded an honorary diploma by the Southern Scientific Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for his many years of fruitful work and significant personal contribution to the development of domestic education and science, as well as for his notable achievements in his professional career.

KOZLOV
ANDRIY YURIYOVICH

In 2018, he completed his master’s degree at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding and received a master’s degree in the field of study 151, “Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies.”
In August 2024, Andriy Yuriyovych Kozlov successfully completed his postgraduate studies at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding and defended his dissertation to earn a PhD in the field of 141, “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics.”
Since September 2024, he has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Automation at the National University of Kyiv. He teaches the following courses: “Theory of Automatic Control,” “Microprocessor-Based Control Systems,” “Operations Research in Electromechanical Systems,” “Constructionand Maintenance of Robotic Systems,” and “ElectricDrive of Robotic Systems.”
A. Yu. Kozlov supervises students' thesis and course projects and actively participates in the department's educational, methodological, and research activities.
He has authored five research papers, including one published in a scientific journal, one published in a journal indexed in the Scopus database, and three presentations delivered at international and Ukrainian conferences.

IVANOV
ANTON VITALIIOVYCH

In 2018, he completed his master’s degree at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding and received a master’s degree in the field of study 151, “Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies.”
From 2019 to 2024, Anton Vitaliyovych Ivanov was a graduate student at the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, majoring in 141 “Electric Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electromechanics.” In 2024, he successfully defended his master’s thesis on the topic “Energy-Efficient Electromagnetic Drives for Vibrating Conveying Devices.”
In 2019, he worked as a laboratory assistant in the Department of Computerized Control Systems. Since September 2024, he has been working as an instructor in the Department of Automation at the National University of Kyiv.
Teaches the following courses: “Electric Drive Control Systems,” “Fundamentals of Vibration Engineering,” “Computer Technologies in the Study of Electrical Systems,” and “Design of Discrete and Digital Control Systems.”
