Метою освітньої програми є підготовка висококваліфікованих магістрів з комп’ютерних наук, які здатні розв’язувати задачі дослідницького та інноваційного характеру у галузі інформаційних технологій. Формування та розвиток загальних і професійних компетентностей з комп’ютерних наук сприяють соціальній стійкості та мобільності магістрів на ринку праці, дозволяє успішно здійснювати розробку інформаційного та програмного забезпечення інформаційних систем.
Підготовка магістрів з комп’ютерних наук спрямована на поглиблене вивчення технологій розробки і супроводу спеціалізованих комп’ютерних систем, технологій, мереж та їх математичного, алгоритмічного та програмного забезпечення. У цій освітній програмі зроблено акцент на формування та розвиток професійних компетентностей із застосуванням сучасних методів моделювання, проєктування та забезпечення якості інформаційних систем, що підвищує ефективність організаційного управління та бізнес-процесів у ІТ-галузі.

An analysis of the educational program components shows that the main focus of training is on theoretical and practical education in the field of information systems design and development. The program allocates a significant number of credits for coursework, research practice, and a qualification thesis, ensuring a deep mastery of professional knowledge and skills. The matrices of compliance between the educational program components and the planned competencies and learning outcomes indicate the balanced structure of the educational process and optimal content.
Among the advantages of the educational program is the emphasis on the development of research skills, which promotes the preparation of students for research activities. The interdisciplinary approach to forming educational components is particularly valuable, as it allows students to acquire knowledge from various fields, taking into account regional specifics.
The educational program does not include a detailed list of elective courses, which can be considered a disadvantage. However, this issue is likely regulated by additional internal documents.
Given the above, I believe that the educational and professional program «Computer Science» of the second (master’s) level of higher education fully meets modern labor market requirements, ensures the high competitiveness of graduates, and is recommended for implementation in the educational process for training specialists in the field of computer science.
