The goal of the educational program is to train highly qualified professionals in economics who possess modern economic thinking, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills, and who are capable of solving complex research, innovation, and management tasks, as well as addressing issues related to the functioning of economic systems at various levels characterized by uncertainty in conditions and requirements.

Graduates have the opportunity to acquire a wide range of competencies and pursue careers as international economists in domestic and foreign public and private business organizations (in managerial positions in organizational, administrative, financial, and economic fields), particularly in various sectors of the maritime industry: maritime trade, the transportation system, maritime energy, and others. The primary focus is on thorough, practice-oriented economic and pedagogical training, as well as the development of research and managerial skills.

Graduates have the opportunity to master a wide range of competencies and carry out the professional activities of international economists in domestic and foreign state and private business structures (in leadership positions of organizational, managerial and financial and economic profile), in particular in various branches of the maritime complex: maritime trade, transport system, marine energy, etc. The main attention is paid to thorough practical-oriented economic and pedagogical training, development of scientific research and managerial abilities.
